Decade Counter with 555 Timer as clock | 50% duty cycle

  4. Capacitors

Working:

555 timer is configured in Astable mode, whose output is used as a CLK to Decade counter which refreshes almost every 2 seconds. 

T= 1/f  = 1/ 0.5 = 2 Sec

Ton = Toff = 0.6932 * 15k * 100uF = 1 Sec

The outputs from decade counter is connected to LED's via current limiting resistors.
